Each shirt is hand dyed and hand printed, one at a time, in my Vermont studio. The shirts begin as a blank canvas of plain white.
These shirts are the softest you will ever know!
The collar is not as high as crew neck or as low as scoop neck.
The variations in color are due to the hand mixing of the dyes. The shirts are not solid in color and may have color variations which add character and are part of the handmade process. I print with thickened dye rather than ink or paint. This way there is no texture to the printed images. The images are actually part of the shirt with no cracking peeling or fading during wear and care.
Pre-Shrunk. All shirts are washed and dried 2 or 3 times in the dyeing and printed process.
Machine wash and dry, using cold water and low heat on the dryer, or hang to dry.
Avoid washing with zippered items due to abrasion.
