14 x 12.5 x 1.5 Mixed media collage, first a layer of paint is applied onto on a gallery wrapped canvas (this canvas is extra thick at 1 1/2") then photo transfers, screen prints, copies of vintage papers and more paint are all applied layer after layer. I like to call it layers of meaning.

Life is so busy; we rush from one thing to another, often without noticing the special moments and beauty of each day.

What I hope to convey in my collages is, to spend some time out of each day living in the moment, take a few minutes each day to notice the sky, a tree branch, a bird, the architecture that surrounds you, even individuals that you pass on the street. Our journey on this earth is a short one, and I believe the journey is meant to be enjoyed. I hope that you find that joy in my work.
